Angela Rodriguez - Lead Vocalist

Talented and versatile, regarded as the Princess of Soul.  Angela's powerful & soulful voice has captivated many audiences with her rendition of Etta James "I Rather be Blind" and Chaka Khan's "Sweet Thing".  She can also sing in spanish with hits such as "Sabor A Mi", Celia Cruz "La Vida Es Un Carnaval" and Selena's smash hit "Como La Flor" and many others.  

Jose Miramontes - Lead Vocalist

You don't get smoother than Jose, his smooth singing styles are stunning and forever timeless.  His voice sounds rather magical and it's impossible not to feel totally moved when you hear him belt it out.  His rendition of GQ's song "I Do Love You" will memorized you.

Rudy Betancourt - Leader, Vocalist, Saxophones and Talk Box 

Rudy is an original Midnight Players member & founder formed in 1977 out of Sacramento High school.  Rudy has been providing Old School and Oldies music throughout California and has no plans to stop.  

Mike Sellars - Musical Director, Vocalist and Keyboardist

Mike is an original Midnight Players member and co-founder since 1977.  Mike started out on Trumpet and moved over to keyboards. Will Wong - Lead & Rhythm Guitarist

Originally joined the Midnight Players back in 1979 and has recently returned back to his roots with the band.  Will is an accomplished musician playing guitar and recordings for over 30 years. He's performed throughout Northern & Southern California.  Will has played in numerous bands from Funk, Jazz, Rock, Latin & Gospel.

Rudy Morones III - Drums & Percussion

Known for his latin rhythmic style and  has performed locally since age 15.  Rudy provides the groove and heartbeat of the band.  Either it's Funk, Hip-hop, Old School R&b or Latin.  His drums & percussions will make you wanna get up off your feets and dance.  

Adrian Ballesteros - Keyboardist 

Accomplished keyboardist  and lead synthesizer.  Adrian brings the funk piano, horns, organ and violin sting's that provides the true parts of the song that The Midnight Players honor to those artist we represent.

Steve Davis - Bassist

Nobody provides pocket like Steve. Having played everything from Rock to Pop, from Latin to R&B, Blues to Funk & more, Steve lays down the thump with driving groove that you feel in your gut.

Alan Cua - Backup Bassist

Nothing exemplifies groove quite like the rhythmic beat that Alan brings.  Either he Slaps, pull, thump, pluck and pop, he can do it all to deliver his electrifying sound of the bass beat.  Styles from Rock to Funk, R&B to disco to hip-hop and beyond.
